life.tuned.in. started one winter day when our founder Kellie was planning some in person events and lamenting the necessary spiel about phone etiquette.
While it isn’t always a problem, devices are ubiquitous, and she knew her students often had a hard time sitting still and paying attention. She wished there was a universal sign that everyone recognized and encouraged them to act accordingly without a lot of fuss.
As her planning progressed, she designed a certification seal and plaque for her classes that she could post near the door. The certification didn’t exist but it looked believable and important! Seeing other instructors struggle with the same problem over the next few months, Kellie decided to take action.
Jolene and Carrie enthusiastically signed up to help. Brainstorming and research began immediately and swiftly took the kernel of an idea to the full-fledged program of life.tuned.in.

When Jolene is in the Red Zone you will probably find her at the giant pumpkin regatta or pedaling her electric bike.

…exercises her curiosity with research and planning, keeping everyone thinking on their toes.
In the green zone, Carrie loves to share pictures of the elk herds traversing the Oregon coast.
